Founded and still led by President Mike Nimmo, Metal Manufacturing Inc. (MTL) is built on one standard: quality in everything we make. Across 185,000 square feet of manufacturing space in Beloit, Wisconsin, we provide welding, fabrication, and in-house powder coating for steel components, taking projects from raw steel to finished product without ever leaving our hands.
Our primary focus is fuel tanks for the data center industry, built to power the backup generation systems that keep critical facilities running, and we continue to build switchgear sub-bases for the same market. Our experience extends well beyond tanks, including electrical enclosures, heat exchangers, and modular roof units, along with custom fabrication and fixture builds, so if it’s made of steel, we can quote it. Every product is backed by a dedicated quality team, full in-house engineering, and our UL 142, ULC-S601, and UL 2085 certifications. That uncompromising standard, paired with our commitment to customers and short lead times, is what sets MTL apart.
